Purpose
Our U10, U12, U14 and High School programs are recreational, gender-specific, travel programs, in which teams may travel up to one hour away for games against other teams in the Central Mass Youth Soccer League (CMYSL). Players participating in this program run the spectrum of soccer experience, from beginners to experienced players. Our goal at all levels is to develop players to the best of their ability by focusing on skill development, building positive attitudes and growing the love of the game in all our players so they have the passion to play and compete.
Coaches
Each team is run by 2-3 parent volunteer coaches. All parents that want to assist must be CORI checked through RYS, even if you have been CORI’d elsewhere. Coaches are responsible for running practices twice per week and facilitating games on the weekend.
Practice Format
Each coach will develop their own coaching structure and plans to utilize with their teams. Teams are gender-specific.
Practice Days, Times & Locations
Coaches will set the practice schedule, which typically consists of one to two practices a week. Practice days and times are determined by each coach prior to the start of the season. Practices last from an hour to an hour and a half. Each coach is assigned an age appropriate field to conduct practices on in town.
